soundtracks, from major sports events to documentaries, from mini-series to news,
from films to entertainment: Rai Trade is the exclusive distributor in Italy and
abroad of all rights to Rai's productions. Its streamlined organisation allows it
to move rapidly, exploiting business opportunities the moment they appear, and bringing
them to fruition. The company's experience, plus the fact that it is part of a major
international group in the field of communications, all allow it to manage a full
range of licensing activities. Drawing on these strengths, Rai Trade develops publishing
projects and co-marketing activities, it grants merchandising licenses for trademarks
and properties, and it manages the catalogues of numerous independent producers,
providing them with significant penetration of the international market. In addition,
it handles musical publications, produces and markets theme channels for pay TV,
purchases musical rights for the Rai television line-up, manages the broadcasting
of all Rai advertising and acts as a consultant in the production of TV commercials
to ensure compliance with current regulations.
